IN 2008 Rick and Carol Edgerly started CMA with the promise of creating a construction business they could be proud of. To them, that meant building a company devoted to superior quality. Rick’s previous experience in commercial construction gave them the essential insight needed to ensure they could make good on their promise. Today, the company has expanded to include co-owner, Joe Copeland, who has brought not only additional general contracting experience but expertise in managing multi-family developments.
To date, they have built almost 100 amenities in the Austin area which is single-handedly more than any other builder. They quickly established a reputation for excellence, providing personalized service and high standards in quality and craftsmanship, which in turn, has motivated repeat business and strong customer relationships. They are passionate about exceeding their customer’s expectations which has made them one of the most successful multi-planned community builders in the Austin area.

Rick Edgerly began his career in the construction industry nearly 35 years ago and has cultivated a special niche for building community amenities. With nearly 100 projects under his belt, Rick understands the planning, dedication and diligence needed to bring a blueprint to life. His strong initiative has produced high-quality work which has earned him a stellar reputation as one of the leading General Contractors in Texas. Joe Copeland has 22 years of experience as a Senior Manager in the Multi-family Community Construction industry. Joe Copeland has cultivated an abundance of experience in the many facets of building community amenities. He has also earned a solid reputation throughout the industry from his high attention to detail and dependability. His clients trust that they can heavily rely on him and his team for construction administration, contract review and job cost estimates. He has led numerous large projects managing up to 125 team members at a time, proving his strong leadership skills that make him an asset to any project.

Her expertise in real estate, mortgage loans and accounting make her a triple threat for every administrative task that goes into projects. She has worked on over 70 projects that consist of constructing amenity centers and entry features for corporate and private developers. Her passion and experience are unmatched and is essential to what we do.
